Gold vermeil is a durable option for jewellery pieces due to that thick layer of gold. The base metal is always sterling silver, so it's great for sensitive skin and has natural anti-tarnish properties while being much more affordable than solid gold pieces. Tijo Gold Vermeil is made through the gold plating technique using 2.5 microns thick gold, providing jewellery pieces of the best value.
/ Cleaning Tips /
To clean gold vermeil jewellery, clean very gently with a soft and dry 100% cotton cloth or a microfiber cloth. Store them in an airtight container when not in use. Every couple of weeks, soak your pieces in warm water and gentle soap (avoid antibacterial soaps that could tarnish the gold plating) to loosen up any dirt and residue, and then carefully wipe them down with a soft cloth to restore the shine.
